學琴已經有一陣子了，但是每一次要彈給老師聽總是會打個大折扣，成果跟在家的練習總是差了一大截。今天在網路上看到一段話，覺得寫得真好：

When performing have as your only motive to share a piece of music. 
Never perform to show how good you are. 
Once the focus of the performance moves from the performer to the music, 
not only the performer will play wonderfully (many times much to his/her surprise) 
as s/he will not experience any nervousness at all.

中文翻譯是：

當（公開）表演的動機是單純與大眾分享音樂的感動
而不是在表現和證明自己有多好、有多強

這時  你的重心就會由表演回歸到音樂的本質
不只你的演出會更加精彩
心 也不再跟著膽怯
