昏暗的舞台上先是亮起了一個小角落，是曼谷的一處貧民窟，自從越戰美軍退兵之後，Kim就帶著她與美國大兵Chris的私生子來到了這裡。雖然生活很困頓，但她一直相信Chris離開時對她的承諾，她始終相信...。
舞台上的燈光接著轉移觀眾的視線，帶領了觀眾來到美國Chris的家。
回到美國之後，Chris一直打聽Kim的下落，但時間將他一步步地推向絕望，最終他還是另娶了一室Ellen，然而Kim一直是他心中最深沉的痛，即使是他太太也不知道發生了什麼事。雖然Ellen感覺的出來Chris隱藏了一個重大的密祕，但她相信有朝一日Chris會對她打開心房，那一天一定會到來，她始終相信...。
例行性地馬汀今早又上網東逛西逛，八卦的馬汀注意到Youtube上一對美國亞裔的婚禮影片，在這婚禮中新娘對新郎唱了一首情歌，從頭到尾新郎的眼淚一直都沒停過。更讓馬汀驚訝的是，這新娘的聲音怎麼這麼好。
很不可思議的事發生了~~早上iTune在隨機播放時，出現了這新娘的聲音。哇，原來她是Miss Saigon裡Kim的原唱。
雖然很多人覺得MIss Saigon的劇情很灑狗血，但是她還是馬汀心目中百老匯音樂劇的前三名，看得令人頭皮發麻，結尾更是讓人安靜的說不出話來。
